Join us in celebrating Navratri, celebrating the feminine aspect of the Divine. This nine-night festival honors various forms of the Devi and her victories over terrible demons. It is also a time to celebrate new endeavors, and guests are invited to bring items associated with musical and scholarly pursuits for blessing.
The Hindu Students Organization and Hindu Life at Yale will host a worship service venerating Durga and Saraswati, followed by a catered vegetarian Indian dinner. The puja will be led by HSO board members, and you are welcome to chant along using the printed puja program.
