Join the Yale Hindu Students Organization for a Maha Shivaratri celebration in reverence of the Hindu God Shiva. It is also the wedding night of Lord Shiva and his wife Goddess Parvati. Unlike most Hindu festivals, which are celebrated during the day, Shivaratri is celebrated at night.
The puja is led by the HSO board members, you are welcome to chant along using the printed puja program. The worship service will be followed by a catered vegetarian Indian dinner. Indian dress is not required but is certainly welcome.
