Virtual Lakshmi Pooja Viewing Party & Hangout with the Yale HSO

Join the Yale HSO on Zoom for a livestream of the Hindu Temple Society of North America’s Lakshmi Pooja!

This is the first Hindu Temple built in the United States. The main deity is Lord Ganesha. 

With Zoom fatigue and the general exhaustion as Thanksgiving approaches, we wanted to offer a flexible virtual option for Diwali celebrations this year.  We will watch the livestream, and then stick around afterwards for a casual conversation about the festival and our lives. We would love to meet you, but if you just want to stay for the pooja, we understand that too:)

This event is free and open to the Yale community. Bring a candle or an electric tea light to light together.
