Join the Yale International Relations Association and the Yale Chaplain’s Office for a talk with Dr. Devdutt Pattanaik entitled “Understanding Mythology”. This talk is part of Devdutt’s US book tour discussing mythology, culture and business.
In his talk “Devdutt [will] illustrate how every culture, Indian or Western, religious or secular, modern or tribal, uses stories, symbols and rituals over generations to convey its own truth that is indifferent to rationality. Without myth there is no meaning, and without meaning, there is no culture.
This event is free and open to the General Public.
Snacks will be served.
Time: 2-4 pm with book signing at 5 pm at the Yale University Bookstore
