Rangoli is an ancient pan-Indian line drawn folk art practiced all over India under a variety of names including Kolam, Alpana, Chaookpurna, Saathiya and Sanjhi.
Designs may be constructed on doorsteps, floors and walls with a variety of materials including flower petals, leaves, seeds, rice powder, and chalk. Diyas sometimes add the final touch. These delightful designs may be drawn as a daily ritual or for special occasions.
Our Rangoli event is a colorful anticipation of Holi. Join us as we brighten up the pavers with beautiful rangoli designs. Chalk, snacks and chai will be provided.
