Please join us on Wednesday February 15th in Dwight Chapel for our annual Maha Shivaratri Puja

Maha Shivaratri is a Hindu festival celebrated in reverence of the God Shiva. It is also the wedding night of Lord Shiva and his consort Goddess Parvati. Unlike most Hindu festivals, which are celebrated during the day, Shivaratri is celebrated at night. More details about Shivaratri can be found by clicking here.

Additionally, Dr. Anant Rambachan, Professor of Religion at St. Olaf’s University has written an article on Huffington Post about Shivaratri which can be accessed by clicking here.

We will serve Indian street snacks after the puja.

This event is free and open to the Yale community; **please register so we have an accurate count for food**
