Join the Yale Hindu Students Organization and Chaplain’s Office as we celebrate the Hindu Festival of Lights with a puja to Maha Lakshmi, the Hindu Goddess of well-being and wealth. A catered vegetarian Indian dinner follows the puja.

Doors open for check-in at 5:45 and close at 6:15 PM
Registration opens on 10/30/23 at 8 PM and is required for the worship service and the dinner.
Register in the correct category!
- Yale College is only for the Yale undergraduates.
- Everyone else – G&P, Postdocs, staff, faculty, alumnae & administrators – please register in that category. If you register in the wrong category your ticket will be deleted and you will need to re-register correctly.
Tickets often go quickly however there are waiting lists and cancellations. In the past most people on the waiting list were able to attend so please sign up and keep an eye on your inbox as we get closer to the day.

Guests must be not experiencing COVID symptoms or other illness. The Connecticut State government and Yale University have relaxed their mask mandates; we support your decision to wear one if you choose to do so.
