The Hindu Students Organization extends an invitation to all Yale first-years (of any faith) who are interested in learning more about Hinduism and HSO’s activities. We celebrate the Hindu festivals, including a huge Diwali puja and dinner at the Omni Hotel, cultural activities, scripture study and much much more.
Please join current and former HSO Board members for a catered vegetarian Indian dinner. It will also be a great opportunity to meet our adviser, Dr. Asha Shipman (Hindu Chaplain and Director of Hindu Life). We will talk about ways for students to get involved in our events & festivals this year and plan new ones including community service.
The Hindu Prayer Room is Bingham 014 on Old Campus.
Enter through entryway D, go down the stairs to the basement and follow the main hall to the lower foyer. The Prayer room is next to the Chaplains Office directly left of the elevator.
